The Discovery Channel has broadcast a
reenactment of one BCSAR's searches in their program, "Storm
Warning". Two groups of teens on a church field trip to Schweitzer
were lost and spent the night in heavy snowfall and freezing
temperatures. Both groups dug-in for the night and waited for
daylight and a change in the weather. One group was found early the
next morning when they wandered on to a member's property. The other
group, two brothers, was found by BCSAR's snowmobile team led by Matt and Mark Linscott,
who were featured in the cable TV segment. |

BCSAR EMT's
responded to this two vehicle accident on US 95 at the Flea Market in Sagle.
They assisted ambulance and fire department crews in extricating one driver
and in caring for and loading the other 6 injured persons in waiting
ambulances.

BCSAR EMT's also served as first responders in areas where they lived or
where they could get to when the ambulance could not. When Northside
Fire Dept. did not have emergency medical personnel, BCSAR EMT's were
available to provide rehab as needed. |
